So just a blog update on everything going on with Cultivating and me as the director.. I don't know if I mentioned but this serves as a place where I speak as founder looking at where everything is going.. Wow is all I have to say about it. So much has gone on and is going on in so little time! White linen was so fun! I met so many great people as usual and shared some seeds with our community! We gave out over 60 seed packets to people!
Its hard to believe that all of this was started a year and a half ago and we have come so far! This month has been a roller coaster of emotions.. We had to vacate our shop.. But we found one that is bigger and better from a bitter sweet situation! I have only God to thank for that. We also won 2 grants! One from Soul Fire Farms, from the GREAT Leah Penniman herself and also a stipend from the 2024 Racial Equity Cohort. So excited to take place in that program! We also were invited to the Sprout 2024 Urban Farmer Cohort! Im so excited to be involved with these great programs! If you know me you know my face is always in a book and I love learning!
